SU & MI began in a small apartment in Colorado Springs with two rescue dogs, one cat with very specific taste, and a shared frustration: finding good pet products meant either paying boutique prices or settling for things that fell apart after a week.
We started testing products ourselves — real dogs, real cats, real damage. If it survived a enthusiastic golden retriever or a cat who treats every toy like a personal enemy, we kept it. Everything else got sent back.
That hands-on approach became the foundation for everything we do. We vet every product before it goes on our site, and we only carry things we'd use with our own pets. It's not a complicated philosophy, but it's one that's served us — and our customers — well.
